Why is it free?

Questlog is built by a solo developer who makes games too. The free tier isn't a limited trial — it's a real, fully-featured project management tool for solo game developers. The paid plan exists for teams who need collaboration features like invites, roles, and real-time sync across multiple members.

If you're a solo indie developer, the free plan is all you need. One project with full access to every feature. If your game takes off and you build a team, upgrade when you need to.

What about when I need a team?

The Party plan is 9.99/month and supports up to 25 team members with unlimited projects. Your existing project, tasks, bugs, and milestones carry over — nothing is lost when you upgrade. You can also invite teammates with different roles (owner, editor, viewer) so not everyone needs full edit access.

Migrating from other tools

If you're currently using Trello, a spreadsheet, or plain text files, Questlog can import your existing tasks. The import wizard supports CSV files, Trello board exports, and even plain text lists (one task per line). Your backlog doesn't start from zero.
